April has sprung upon us like magic! Here in South India , the Sun is scorching us with his brilliance ! We love taking refuge from the searing heat in the cool confines of our homes or by vacationing in some lovely resorts at a higher altitude!

Whatever we choose, the best way to beat the summer heat is to have a pitcher filled with our favorite cool drink beside us ! As crocheters we only know too well that this would mean we need coasters to soak up the condensations!!!!

Craftopia Collective had a call out for Crochet Magic blog hop happening in the month of April 2024 and I just could not pass up the opportunity to present the quick and easy Slice Coasters!

These coasters were first designed and published in June 2021! At that time , this and several other designs were part of our DIY magazine called Variegated! I am happy to bring back these quick and easy patterns as part of the Crochet Magic blog hop!

The Slice Coaster set is a bundle of 3 coaster patterns, all implementing the same design in different shapes! Our favorite is the almond shape, but the hexagon really shows off the stitch pattern and of course, can’t go wrong with a classic round coaster

These are made with JoAnn’s Big Twist Cotton and 4 mm hook. These are reversible!
