We are entering into the last 3 months of the year 2024! Wow ! Where did the time go?

I have barely begun to scratch the surface with the things I wanted to get done this year and it is already coming to an end??

Well let me stop wondering and plan to get some of the things out of the way before the year ends:)

I participated in a Whatsapp group fun game for crocheters and decided to come up with a coaster pattern for the winner of the game.

The Bloom Boom Coaster came into existence.

This is quick and easy project and uses very little yarn.

This pattern is coming up as a free pattern on October 8th 2024 as part of the Autumn Harvest blog hop hosted by Tasha of Star Dust Gold Crochet.

Welcome back to week 3 of October and another free pattern to download as part of the Autumn Harvest Blog hop!

As I was designing the Bloom Boom Coaster, I played around with different colors and stitches. The yellow center reminded me of the pumpkin flower we place at the center of the kolams we draw to decorate the front of our homes.

Changing times have replaced independent homes with wide space in front to apartments in the sky! Living in one such apartment, I don’t get to enjoy the feel of drawing on terra firma:(

I still do draw , albeit small ones , in front of my apartment but it is just not the same! Here are some of the kolams I have drawn in the recent days!

The Rich Earth Coasters are rich in color and texture and can be finished in one sitting! A perfect gift for the hostess of a party or to grace your tables , these will give you great joy and instant gratification!
