Summer Vibes

Summer is all but over here in my neck of the woods but its just beginning in the West!

With the monsoon gaining strength and giving us the much needed water, we can definitely use the craft blog hops happening around us to get some crocheting time keyed in !

My previous blog post was all about making use of scraps that we have stashed .

The next blog hop I am participating in this month likes to focus on those patterns that give us the summery feel.

I am super happy to bring my pattern Nostalgia Scarf from my Design store – ViVaCrochet, as part of this blog hop. The Nostalgia Scarf was designed in May 2021 for the Variegated!, a DIY magazine.

When I designed this scarf, I knew I wanted to use Bruges Lace technique but I didn’t want to make it lengthwise:) I also knew that I didn’t want a curve when I turned the Bruges lace strip. The addition of the edging and tassels resulted in a simple yet elegant scarf. Not a fan of tassels?, no worries, my testers have opted out of making them and it still is beautiful!

What color will you choose to make yours in? I bet it will look amazing in any color!
