As crafters , we tend to have an affinity to buy yarn!
What would be your choice to this statement?
We buy yarn when ….
a) it’s the perfect shade,
b) it’s on sale
c) it’s a new type of yarn
d) it’s for a specific project
Well if you are like me then it is all 4 options! This however leads to another problem!!! We have scrap yarn in almost every color and sometimes every yarn weight too! We just cannot throw it away!
This is when a good Scrap Busting project is needed !
I sometimes take a break from my big crochet projects . And what do I do in that time — you guessed it , smaller crochet projects like motifs or granny squares! These projects are perfect for using up those bits and bobbles of yarn that I have saved!
When Audrey of Canoe Mtn Designs decided to host a Scrap Busting blog hop event , I jumped in! As a co-designer at ViVaCrochet , we have several patterns that fit the bill for using scraps! However , the one that I really love is the Spring Dance Mandala. The Spring Dance Mandala is an experiment of cutting and joining new colors in sections halfway through the pattern. I had suggested this name as the colorful fans in the mandala look like skirts that are spinning in dance on a Dandiya Night!

Thirteen crochet designers from around the world have come together to make this event a worthy one for all the discerning crafters!

This Scrap busting event runs from July 7th until July 19th . Each of these designers have selected a beautiful pattern that will make the best use of scrap yarns. Using the coupon code , you can avail any of these patterns listed for $2.00
Presenting a brief about these patterns . Clicking on the image will take you directly to the pattern page where you can apply the code and get it!

All these patterns use the same coupon code SCRAPS24 .
Happy Scrap Busting!
