Each one a winner in their own right! One of the best part of using scraps is that you can make the project as big as you want!
When Regina gave a shout out for a Scrap-Tastic event , it was only logical to jump in as we have stockpiled scrap yarn in all fibres!
The quickest and easiest way to use up the scrap yarns is to make a mandala! The mandalas make a beautiful accent pieces that are bound to start conversations! They can spruce up a wall or a table with equal panache!
How did we come about this huge stash of yarn scraps?? We have a mandala fetish and have churned out a lot of designs ! These are perfect to use up those tiny bobs of cotton yarn lying around! The feature pattern for this blog hop is our Scintillating Dreams Mandala that is designed with 4 ply cotton yarn and a 4 mm hook. We went with fall colours but any colour scheme will look just as pretty! We also tried the pattern with fingering weight and it turned out super cute (if we say so ourselves) like a mini version of the mandala!
The mandala measures 11″ after blocking and the mini measures 4.5″ after blocking!
