January a peak winter month in the northern hemisphere , needs to be celebrated with warm and cozy things! So what better way to start the New Year than to have a ” Hooked on Winter ” Blog Hop !
The Crochet Designers at the Crochet Designers Community on Facebook have come together to bring you a wonderful collection of warm cozy accessories , blankets etc. This blog hop started on Jan3rd and runs until Jan 15th 2026.

For this blog hop , I am participating on behalf of ViVaCr0cnhet, a crochet design venture that I run along with my daughter!

I bring to you a beanie that my daughter had designed way back in 2021. It is called the Sprite Hat .
This hat is worked on the bias in the shape of a parallelogram with the short sides sewn together and the crown is then worked in the round.
The yarn is rejoined at the bottom to finish the brim.
The picot brim adds a playful look to the beanie . The difficulty rating is given as difficult only because the various elements that make up the hat require a bit of focus.
Our testers have done an amazing job and I hope that you will also enjoy making this hat and keep yourself or your loved one cozy!
