October captures the season’s essence with themes of change, coziness, and the beauty of nature.
I have been remiss and have let the month of October slip by ! To be fair, Life threw a pretty harsh curve ball that I am still reeling under.
That said, I would love to get back to finiding my feet again and what better way to do it than immersing myself in my crochet!
October’s Global Crochet Collaboration, idea mooted by Audrey of CanoemtnDesigns, went smoothly by.
In case you have forgotten, let me refresh your memory:) We are nine crochet designers from all over the world who have come together to bring you 3 free crochet patterns every month.
Audrey started this month’s free pattern collection with her cowl and scarf set – a perfect introduction to Sweater Weather 🙂 She says ” A fun textured design. Cowl is worked in the round, scarf is worked short rows. Easy row/round repeat. Quick patterns that work well in a solid color or self striping yarn. Great scrap busting patterns.”

We had a slight misfortune for the third week’s free pattern however Gemma of Concretegems graciously stepped in to make things right! She brings the iconic symbols of Fall into crochet with these pretty Oak and Acorn earrings!
