Global Crochet Collaboration

Hello fellow crafters! Welcome to the second half of 2025! We are a 172 days away from Christmas 2025, yikes! Hope you have got your handmade gifts for the holidays sorted!

We are marching into the 7th month of the year, July , with yet another edition of the Global Crochet Collaboration! We have so far brought out 18 free crochet patterns through this collaboration. Every month , 3 crochet designers from the list below, bring you 3 forever free crochet patterns.

Here’s a recap of the patterns published so far. Clicking the image will take you to my blogpost which gives the links to the respective free patterns,

Starting off July’s free pattern is Audrey of Canoe Mtn Designs

Audrey says about her pattern : “Mini Spikes Scarf & Cowl: These patterns are a great way to use up scrap yarn. Both are easily adjusted to any size. Use as many or few colors as you want. Quick and easy row/round repeats. Pattern calls for worsted weight yarn but any weight can be used. Great unisex patterns”.

Maybe it is too early to be thinking of making a scarf and cowl in the West but here in Bangalore , India we are having such cool climes that it will be worth to start making these!

Hope you get to try some of the free patterns that we have brought out so far! Would love to see your makes from these patterns. So do tag the designer when you get to share your projects!

The Second week of July will see this pattern from Marsha of Marsha Yarn Doodles

Marsha says : “The Ridged Camp Chair Buddy is the perfect solution for adding convenient storage to chairs that don’t come with built-in pockets. Designed to hold your phone & drink … or for us crocheters our yarn & hooks …”.

What a perfect pattern to add to your picnic chair as you sit outside enjoying the Sun!
