The first week flew by and we have atleast one participant finishing it on the same day! How about you ? Have you started the bag? Are you waiting to see the finished picture before you take a call? We wouldn’t hold it against you if you are still undecided 🙂
We ran into some unforeseen cleaning and decluttering that spilled over several days and hence the delay in presenting the final bag.
I hope you will trust us and start the bag as we showed the unfinished work to some of our friends and they all exclaimed ” looks like a bag that Mary Poppins would carry!” So we are happy that at least the name fits :)!
Week 2 is very straight forward! Now you will be working on the body of the bag with no increase!
Part 2: Continuing from Week 1 we begin work on row 18!
Row 18
FP : 1 TKS in the second st, 1 TSS in each stitch till you reach the TKS, 1 TKS, 1TES – 54 loops on the hook
RP : Yarn over pull through 1 loop, yarn over pull through 2 loops till you have just one loop left on the hook. 54 stitches.
Row 19 – Row 44 : Repeat row 18
That’s it! Just even stitches ! Let’s get those stitches in and meet back next week! Hopefully we will be able to put up finished pics before this week is done! The black line across the pic below indicates the end of the part 2 of the bag!
