Marching on to a new dawn

After a two month hiatus, I am back to the blogoshpere! Hope you all are doing well , mentally and physically!

The Tunisian squares have gone into the back burner for a bit as I jumped back on to the blog hop wagon once again. I will be back with more Tunisian Stitches but am rethinking the frequency of those posts. Perhaps two squares a month will allow me to fine tune the sample and give you all some space to try them as well.

The blog hops are fun way to connect with other designers and help each other out.

This post is going to be about the March Madness blog hop hosted by Pam of Carroway Crochet If you have followed Vivacrochet on social media , you will find that I love creating simple yet unique designs to crochet. I focus on crocheted accessories and quick makes. The pattern I am bringing to you all today is no exception. It’s my take on the Japanese Knot bag and I have created it flat to be seamed later to form the bag . This makes it perfect for all skill levels from beginner to expert!

Sharing some of my previous designs here incase you have missed these. The embedded links will take you to the ravelry page and payhip store. Do tag #vivacr0chet on IG if you have made these designs.

The second picture will take you to the Payhip store if you have difficulties viewing on Ravelry

Like all our patterns that are available on the blog, this wristlet will also be free here and available to download as a PDF for a small fee either on Ravelry or PayHip.

Finishing

Lay the piece as shown in the above pic and seam the ends of the rectangle that will make up the handles.

Next seam the body part of the wristlet(make sure you don’t seam the handles).

Weave in the ends. That’s it! You are done! Insert the tall handle through the short handle and carry it on your wrist!

I hope you enjoy making this wristlet! Do tag vivacr0chet or me when you show off your makes!

Don’t forget to get back to the blog hop for the next day’s pattern!

Until next time , stay safe and stay healthy!
